North Bank House

Cleanness, interiors and clam and nice environment

Shower in the 2nd floor bathroom is not working. It’s too hot and sometimes the mixture tap doesn’t work. May be time sensitive control enabled in the property. We left early in the morning around 5 am and the hot water not working. It was happened last two days. Better to set in the manual mode when guest come in.

The luxury and homely feel It was huge and comfortable. Plenty to do and well placed for outings

Very beautiful spacious house located in a beautiful area. Convenient to travel to see so many beautiful places & Scottish landmarks. We really enjoyed our stay. .

Where do I start!! Incredible renovation of a stunning old bank. Luxury games room, well appointed kitchen, fabulous lounges. Has hot tub but didn’t get to use it - looked good though Parking outside on the street

Not much going on around the village ( a linear road of small houses) but the harbour was lovely. 2 bathrooms would be tight if we had been a bigger party

We would probably have loved all of it, we will never know, unfortunately.

Unfortunately we never made it to North Bank House because the owner took another booking and cancelled us. It looked lovely and having paid the full amount up front, we made a number of plans to coincide with a very special family occasion, flights were booked and cars organised, all in good faith. We were offered another house nearby but it was not suitable and certainly not to the same standard. Another date was not possible or relevant to the purpose of our visit. We are left disappointed and somewhat deflated but we did, eventually, get an apology. We hope that it doesn’t happen to others, such trips are important and take a lot of planning, particularly when older relatives, great distances and family commitments are involved. In short, you will most likely have a lovely time, but be aware that you may get cancelled - if systems fail or perhaps a more lucrative booking comes in. Book with your eyes open – we wish you better luck than we had.
