Großes Frühstücksbuffet;

Schwimmbad auf unbestimmte Zeit geschlossen; Extrem unfreundliches Personal, das die eigenen Fehler oder Unzulänglichkeiten auf den Gast projiziert. Wurde von der Rezeptionistin angemacht, weil ich das Abendessen nicht schon am Vorabend bezahlt hätte. Ich ging irrtümlich davon aus, dass man auch dort, wie in anderen Hotels, beim Verlassen des Hotels eine Gesamtrechnung bezahlen könne. Speisen und Getränke wurden nicht boniert, fehlendes Bargeld stellte ein Riesenproblem dar.

This is a unique Hotel location within a forested area with walking trails, connecting villages.Mrs. Fatima, the proprietess, has an eye for flowers and decor. The breakfast provided has multiple, tasty choices. The rooms are simple in decor but clean and comfortable. Windows can be opened to smell the air and hear the birds.. The Wald Hotel is my go to place when visiting Cologne and wanting a rural experience in easy driving distance.

Lovely wooded area twenty minute walk from Wielh. Good parking. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very good value for money

Breakfast was very good, nice touch with a locally produced honey.

Everything was very nice, but if you are looking for the location that is close to city like Köln then this is not the place. Place of the hotel is at the edge of the forest, wonderful surroundings, but quite a way from the bigger cities.
