Hotel Restaurant Jägerhof

Good pressure and water temperature in the bathroom. Clean. Could regulate temperature in the room. Windows looked new. The room and the bathroom were of good size. Oat milk was available at breakfast.

Paper-thin walls. Other guests came back at 1:30 am and made significant noise for a while. They woke me up and kept me up. And of course there was no way to address it. No water or fridge in the room, no tea facilities, no safe. Literally just a bed and some basic furniture. The TV had only German channels. The decor is outdated and the ceiling light is unpleasant. The towels were tired. The pillows were small and lumpy. The bed - too hard. I wasn’t impressed by the staff. When we checked in at 7pm, we were told off, as it was apparently ‘too late.’ This is a hotel and restaurant and it was a Saturday night during the Christmas season. How could this be too late especially as they did nothing other than hand us room keys. No one asked how we liked our stay when we checked out. Breakfast was very average, with limited selections. Eggs tasted strange - maybe the oil they were cooked in?
