Hotel Restaurant La Chaumiere du Lac

Emplacement exceptionnel au bord du lac, chambre propre et comfortable avec vue sur lac, accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, petit déjeuner simple mais consistant, délicieux et copieux repas le soir. Nous sommes entièrement satisfaits de notre weekend et recommandons cet établissement, qui est d'un très bon rapport qualité prix. Il ne faut pas oublier que cet hôtel est une entreprise familiale, un couple dur au labeur (ainsi que leur fille qui est une excellente serveuse à l'écoute) qui font un excellent job, bravo!

Great location overlooking the lake. Friendly staff. Good and reasonably priced evening meal in the restaurant.

Balcony overlooking the lake was in a pretty poor state after the winter and could do with a good clean/paint.

Florence and Olivier very welcoming and helpful. Very good home cooking. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Nice selection of wine. Great view over the lake.

The location and the view are amazing

The room was fairly basic but the bed was comfortable. You book this hotel for the position on the lake .

The location was just wonderful, the room was simple and basic but perfectly clean and comfortable. It was not dingy and dark as I read in one review, maybe they didn't find the light in the hallway as it was perfectly bright. Super view from our room, this is right on the lakeside and after a long days riding a swim was order of the day, the lake was beautiful. Safe parking for our motorbikes at the rear of the property. The breakfast again was simple but ample, plenty of nice coffee and toast/croissants/juice etc. The lake and recreational area is so restful, there are toilets and changing rooms to hand. The town was lovely with plenty of places to eat in or take away and a local Carrefour. I would definitely return if in the area, the D roads around all the lakes in this area were breathtaking. I would certainly return.

It is true the décor could benefit being refreshed but we were more interested in the view outside, even our garden view room had a view of some of the lake. We could not check in till 5.30pm which I hadn't realised but we just put our cosy's on and went for a dip. There was no fruit at breakfast but I'm just being picky now! I can sacrifice that for the amazing view from the veranda eating breakfast.
