Shubu Zen Vendégház

The garden outside is beautiful and idyllic. The little wooden chalet where we stayed is secluded from the main building, has a garden access and is well equipped, comfortable and clean. Bathroom and shower cabin was nice and clean, and the living space decorated in country style has a romantic aura. Small kitchen is well equiped to prepare simple breakfast and sandwiches for dinner. Although the space was bit tight for the family of 3, we enjoyed our stay there for 3 nights, as we were blessed with perfect weather and spend little time inside during our stay. All the main Szilvasvarad attractions are in the walking distance, so we didn't have to use our car during our stay. The garden is pefect for playing lot's of outdoor games with the kid and there is also a huge trampoline next to the chalet, which our kid loved. Our host Akos was very helpful, responsive and friendly. And yes - nowhere in Hungary you can find more beautiful nature than in Szalajka Valley.

Lack of small table/coffee table in the cabin, although there is a sitting area outside. The pillows and blankets where nice, but the bedsheets, although clean, had some holes. The place is bit small for 3, but that's the part of the compromise you know you are making, when you book this place.

Very quiet place, peaceful. It was very close to national park.
