Penthouse -By the Danube

Spacious, bright flat in a modern building and very conviniently located. The photos on the web already provide a very good impression and helped us to choose this place. Upon arrival we felt that it was even nicer. Excellent a/c for hot weather. The living room with a balcony is very cozy for relaxing after a busy day. Well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, comfortable beds, clean and quiet. There is a lift in the building. Lovely area, with various coffee shops, grocery store and restaurants around, and short distance to the Danube. Quick replies from the hosts, helpful and friendly receptionist.

The sink in the upper-level bathroom is a bit low and small, tucked under the large mirror cupboard which made it difficult to use without poking the nose into the mirror. A minor thing, as the lower-level bathroom is very spacious and comfortable. Other than that, a bit tired here and there, could do with a little bit of renovation, but small things that did not take away too much from the overall very positive impression.

a wonderful flat, spacious, clean, nice beds and bathrooms. fully equipped kitchen. I felt very comfortable here. Also the location was perfect, with a big Aldi around the corner, cute restaurants and only 2 minutes from the metro station. the host was always quick to reply to my questions.

perfect position for all amenities, great cafes close by, a quiet area, very peaceful. tourist attractions. a short walk away. excellent nightlife within walking distance, far enough away not to cause a disturbance., Super clean apartment, with absolutely everything you need.

Wash basin in the upper bathroom was broken. Someone forgot open meal in the kitchen.

The location is excellent. WIFI good.

The aparment is far from clean! Dusty, sticky, bad smell... The sink in the bathroom is broken, cannot be used because it leaks. The chairs are broken, dangerous to sit on them.

location near the Fisherman’s Bastion was excellent, light, airy and spacious accommodation. Had everything we needed apart from a corkscrew. Spa shop just round the corner and cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. Very close to the Danube and warm and cozy.

Had difficulty gaining access to the property as when we arrived no one was at reception and door locked, we had to ask a passing resident for help who kindly phoned in and soon after the caretaker let us in etc, who speaks very little English. Apartment could do with a thorough clean, upstairs bathroom sink has big crack in it, broken bits of glass found behind upstairs bedroom bedside table. balcony, although nice to go out on, was littered with a couple of piles of cigarette butts and a bow tie. There were wet sheets drying on an airer in the lounge when we got there and the downstairs beds didn’t have bottom sheets on although we found some in a cupboard.

The host was simple amazing. For technical reasons we couldn't stay on this flat but the host changed us to a luxury amazing apartment near the St Stephen Basilica (https://www.booking.com/Pulse-XpEH94). The location was amazing, everything clean, definitely worth the money. But don't get me wrong: I'm sure that if we stayed in the original duplex, the location would be amazing (we pass there) and if it was clean and had the good taste of the one we ended up staying, for sure it would great too.

I believe that the TV's setup for someone that is not tech savvy can be a little overwhelming. I managed fairly easy but can work tech gadgets easily. If you can improve that so it's more plug and play for guests, that would be perfect.
