The location by Loch Fyne

The location is beautiful but the accommodation is not. It is very basic inside and tired, and we thought poor quality for a holiday let for the cost. It did not match the photographs as advertised, hence our disappointment. Limited communication from host. The entrance needs attention, the toilet flush is broken. The hob is cracked. Sofa old and worn. Cobwebs hanging up the stairway. Walls need repainting. Hanging space in bedroom had a hole and wire loose and, an empty bracket. Dangerous gap in bedroom wall we blocked with the blanket box. We stayed because we could not find anywhere else to book and we were only away 3 nights. Spent one of the days in a hotel. The other days we were out most of the time. Put a bit of a disappointment on our stay. Fortunately the bed was comfortable and Inverary is beautiful. We wlll be returning to Inverary alot for various reasons and hoped to find somewhere we could book on a regular basis, but we will not be booking this accommodation again. Despite contacting host about issues we were still charged the full cost.

The seaview and comfortable bed

Definitely not worth the price and begrudged paying the cost! No shower gel complementaries, cheap Lidl hand wash, no kitchen roll etc so had to go and buy all of that from the shop which wasn't expected otherwise would have taken our own. Toilet flush button broken making it difficult as a female with nails to flush without breaking a nail. The brush for cleaning dishes had food stuck in it from previous reviews on here 🤢 Cracked cooker top. There was half bothered tea and sugar in jars with sugar at the bottom empty that looked it had been there for ages - no coffee. So why bother? At the price they charge for accommodation all these repairs really should be getting seen to and additional touches wouldn't go a miss for tourists and visitors. Very very poor. The entrance to the apartment is full of weeds and a couple of cigarette butts. The bathroom only has a bed and two side drawers - no mirror meaning I had to have all my stuff downstairs for getting ready. Bit of a faff. Bring the price down or make large improvements.

The inside was clean and view from windows was lovely.The bedroom was large and bed comfy. Only a 1minute walk to the town with lovely shops and restaurants.

The entrance needs some attention a bit dirty and run down. The owner told us the heater in the hall had just stopped working and the flush on the toilet had been broken by previous guests but having just looked at other guests reviews this has been broken back in January we had to take the top of the cistern off to flush it. Also it has been mentioned several times there is no mirror in the bedroom you have to go downstairs to do your hair and makeup.. In general the whole apartment needs some attention especially the bathroom (nowhere to hang anything and a lot of mould on tiles as there is no extractor fan , I expect value for money and as they are charging over £900 for a week I expected a lot more. Very disappointed.

The property was in a great location to the town, fabulous view. Well presented. Comfortable.

Beautiful location overlooking the Loch. Very easy to walk to the shops. The bed was comfortable and towels were fluffy.

The parking was very tight with other cars using the spaces. I managed to park around the back, but you can also park in the carpark at the end which is free from 6pm-9am I think and walk back to the building. It's a bit hard to find at first as the entrance is tucked around the back, but calling the landlord helped. The place is starting to look a bit dated, such as the cracked cooker, rusty mirror, and the bedroom could do with a bit more of a homely feel but generally a comfortable place to stay and easy to get around.

Central, beautiful views, well kept, very comfortable

Location alongside Loch and central to the town was good. Bed and linen were great.

Some of the furnishings were a bit tired. Info on Booking.com stated that cash payment would not be accepted on arrival, yet cash was required. Overall, property was sound but quite expensive for what you got.
