Riverside cottage walking distance into Caernarfon

Loved our stay. The house has clearly had a lot of effort and care put into it, and the owners are still actively working on the property, which however wasn't noisy or disruptive at all. Great insulation by British standards, the house stayed cool even on fairly hot days. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable with more or less everything you need during a vacation stay. Great peaceful spot off the main road within 15 minutes walking distance to the center of Caernarfon.

The wifi didn't really work, it seems to be located somewhere outside the house which might be temporary, but neither my phone nor laptop could connect outside of a specific spot by the kitchen window.

Amazing location and a perfect starting point for a plethora of beautiful walks and hikes around North Wales. The property and the surroundings are simply wonderful, have a lovely history, and very well equipped and maintained. Cannot recommend it enough.

Wonderful cottage set far enough away from the town to feel secluded but near enough for a stroll if you wanted to visit

Beautiful setting in convenient location

Really quiet and peaceful holiday, many different species of birds visiting the bird table and the squirrels. We enjoyed watching the mother duck with 9 ducklings going up and down the river and the kingfisher. There is also a lake area in the river where you can go swimming.

Nothing, it suited us fine.
