High-quality appliances and furnishings. Lovely standard of decoration. Personal attention from host by text message. Welcome basket and Easter eggs hidden around the property was a nice touch. Good location in Castle Douglas and easily available parking directly outside.

My elderly parents struggled with the double bed because placement in the room meant that both had to get out on the same side. Although weather was mild during our visit, the bathroom was cold, even when the heated towel rail had been on for some time. Central heating/hot water boiler failed on the last night of our stay.

The Coop is very well located within Castle Douglas close to local amenities and restaurants. It is cosy, stylish and clean. Great communication from the owner. We had a really lovely stay.

Everything! The cleanliness, the decor, the extra touches, like the welcome basket, the location.

Chilly bathroom. And maybe a sensor light in there or in the hall would be good, to avoid putting all those lights on for a quick trip to the loo! But seriously, very little not to like. Fabulous place.

property was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities needed. There was a handy sheet about things to do and where to eat in the local area. communication was excellent between Marcella and I. I would definitely stay here again.

nothing really but this is just personal preference it would be better to have bath sheets than towels for people a bit larger
