The Mainstay Luxury Boutique Rooms with Private Parking

From the Hotel location close to the railway station, simple private parking, hotel access, the informative & warm greeting we received, the room decor & design and comfort; everything promised from feedback from previous guests, was met. 10/10

Very nice place,good for parking and only minutes walk away

Exceptionally clean and well-presented accommodation - that was also extremely comfortable (I was in Room 2 with the leather sofa.) Being so close to the train station and town centre was great. The hosts were very friendly and only noticeable at check-in/out. It's also worth mentioning that the water pressure and shower were amazing.

Only the slightest niggle but I would have liked a mini fridge in the room, for cold drinks - but as they ask guests to not bring food or takeaways into the room, then I completely understand why there isn't one. I couldn't even deduct a point because of this though.

Julie and Peter are exceptional hosts. Mainstay location is within a very short walk from town. Room is very comfortable and scrupulously clean. Private parking on-site is rare in Whitby and most welcome. We will be back! Thank you 😊

Everything was excellent

Gorgeous room. Beautifully decorated to a high standard. Very clean room and bathroom. Close enough to the harbour that you could walk in but far enough you couldn't hear everyone in the pubs. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some biscuits were supplied in the room along with a couple of bottles of water. The views from the bedroom were beautiful. It was nice to just sit and watch the world go by in Whitby. Safe parking for the car. The owners were also so lovely.
