Olde Lantern Holiday Lets

We had a lovely stay at the olde lantern holiday lets, nothing was too much trouble for Harriet and the location was amazing too, definitely will be back !

We stayed on the top floor with harbour views. It was up 4 flights of steps but just right - well equipped & clean with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer, hairdryer… The mattress was brand new & very comfortable - the apartment had everything we needed with lots of extra touches like cleaning items , recycling points, tea coffee and sugar… The lovely owner, Harriet was helpful and friendly - perfect!

Nothing to do with the property but the noise from the sea gulls overnight was very loud! How do the locals put up with it night in & night out?

The location was excellent, the host was friendly and approachable, the beds were so comfy, and the shower was amazing. We booked for our dog, but ended up not taking him, so the host has offered to refund our money for him, which is very kind .

No double glazing, so was noisy with the sea gulls in the early hours, but it's an old property, and the windows are in keeping with it.

I'm not a fan of air fresheners- I think natural air is much better but that's just my opinion

Excellent location right by the harbour and the shops. Views of the harbour from the front windows. Apartment had everything we needed for our break, microwave, fridge, cooker along with all the plates and glasses you need. All basic, no frills but all you need. Access was easy. I was text the door code on our way to the property and an envelope was waiting for us in the hallway. We have stayed here before and will do so again. We parked at the nearby Ropery Car Park, £9.50 for 24 hours which is excellent value. Dog loved it too and the apartment didn’t smell of dog at all.

Sofas could have been more comfortable, but we were hardly in during the day. Basic accommodation in an amazing location.

Great location and nice spacious apartment with everything we needed. Parking really close by too.

Parking was super busy so sometimes had to wait for a space. It could be quite noisy from outside at times.

Location very Nice.

Close to Beach and a very compassionate host , very kind to her guests and was available when did we need her . We will definitely go back and stay their again

We were unlucky with weather .
