Friendly Staff, great breakfast, lovely room, great location and best of all Lucky the dog and the cats

The mosquitoes were a problem and it would have been nice to have had a net above the bed. A working fan would also have been good as the room was quite hot one night.

I had a really lovely stay at this beach lodge and felt completely at ease from the moment I arrived. The whole team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. I stayed during Ramadan, which meant things were a bit quieter, but I actually really enjoyed that peaceful atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to slow down, relax, and just enjoy being by the ocean. As a solo traveller, feeling safe and comfortable is really important to me, and I genuinely felt both throughout my stay. Everyone was kind, respectful, and made the environment feel very relaxed and easygoing. Overall, it was a really special place to spend a few days, and I’d happily stay here again if I return to The Gambia.

They don’t take care much about the property, but this is Gambian style 😜 don’t aspect an early breakfast 🫣

Location , 2 Bungalows with 4 rooms, palm trees, tranquility and within 10 minutes walking to the fishing village
