SunRise Vila

SunRise Villa is a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. The Villa is located in a large garden overlooking the bay. From the moment we arrived, the host, Babis, did all he could to make our stay pleasant and rewarding. The villa is well-equipped and all the house appliances work perfectly. The nearby town, Lixouri, has all the amenities you might need, and the beautiful red sand beach, Xi, is only a 15-minute drive away. Highly recommended!

By far it was a delight to meet Mr. Babis the host of this property. An extraordinarily warm and welcoming man who made us feel very welcome and respected. He made available to us not only his property but everything he had in his wonderful garden. (tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, grapes, lemons, thyme, rosemary etc.) We have been to countless locations but this was by far the most welcoming and peaceful. We thank Mr. Babis for making our vacation perfect. P.S. We saw an amazing moonrise from the balcony of the room.

Everything was perfect! We spent in Sunrise vila two fantastic weeks! The house is very spacious, clean and bright, surrounded by a beautiful garden of lemon and olive trees. The view you can enjoy from the terraces (4!) is fantastic! It is located in a quiet place, a few minutes by car from Luxouri, and in a strategic position to reach the wonderful beaches of the island. Babis, the owner, is really very kind! At our arrival he let us find a delicious moussaka still warm in the oven, a bottle of good wine, fruits, and all for breakfast. Every day he left us fresh produce from the garden; the watermelon was super!!! We really felt like at home. Absolutely recommended!

This place is surprising. A big and beautiful vila with a huge courtyard, a garden with vegetables and watermelons and lemon trees... It's breathtaking! The interior is super classy and cozi. But above all is the host who is incredible nice and kind. He was waiting for us with a delicious mousaka and many other surprises. Some famous beaches are nearby. Myrtos, Petani, Xi... It is the perfect place for the perfect holiday!

Nothing to complain of.

Everything about Sunrise Vila is exceptional. One of the places where you can relax and recharge. This is one of the best stays we had during our holidays. On top of that Babbis is one of the sweetest person we met on the island. On the day of arrival, we arrived really late at night but Babbis was waiting for us with a smile. He prepared Moussaka for us and provided us with lots of food/snacks and drinks which was more than enough for 2 people for 5 night stay. The villa has all the amenities available for cooking, washing etc. The garden is big and really beautiful. The villa is exactly as listed on the booking.com. Location wise the villa is few mins drive from Lixouri. No mini market in the village. There is a taverna named 'light house' at the walking distance which is highly recommended from our side. There is also a nice pizza place at walking distance which was also good. Overall, we had a perfect stay and we will come here again for sure. Thanks Babbis for everything and also for the olive oil.

Our stay at SunRise Vila was beyond any expectations. We highly appreciated that when we arrived, the owner welcomed us with traditional greek mousaka (the best homemade mousaka ever, served just out of the oven), a basket full of fresh fruits and a bottle of Kefalonian unique Robola wine and one bottle of Ouzo, the national drink of Greece. Every morning we enjoyed a great breakfast on the terrace. By the way, the house has 4 large terraces. The garden of the house was amazing, plenty of lemon trees, figs and many other sort of mediterranean fruit trees which we could enjoy. The vegetable garden was also left at our disposal. The house is equipped with everything you need, from washing machine to milk frother, sparkling clean, very spacious and comfortable. The location for us was just perfect, 5 minutes away from Lixouri town (much more restfull and relaxing than Argostoli, yet equally charming and picturesque). The most beautiful beaches, like Platia Ammos, Petani and Xi Beach, are also very close, 15-20 minutes away by car. We highly recommend this place, if we come back to Kefalonia, we will definitely choose to stay here again! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Loved it! Efcharistó!
