Mirmidones Corfu Apartment

Appartement spacieux avec salon et cuisine au premier niveau et 2 chambres avec salle de bain au deuxième étage L’appartement est fonctionnel dans une maison en travaux au RDC et dans l’appartement contigu Grand terrain avec portail pour garer la voiture

Il manquait quelques accessoires de cuisine et le village de petriti était à au minimum 15mn des grandes plages. (Les plages locales ne convenaient pas aux enfants malgré la présence de bars et restaurants )

Kostas is very polite, helpful and makes you to feel welcomed to Corfu. The acomodation is as shown in the pictures and is at 10 minutes walking distance from taverns. It is equiped with everything you need to make a dinner. Overall, it was a good experience.

In the summer the upper level gets very hot (i think is because of the wood from the roof) and you need to stay with AC long time ON, to cool the rooms. This has nothing to do with the acomodation,but Petriti is a small village and you expect to find a quiet location, but at 3AM , there is someone with the motorcycle , making awful noise. I hope someone stops him.

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday staying at Mirmidones. Kostas, and his son John could not have been more helpful. Petriti is a lovely small fishing village with plenty of tavernas and places to eat on the front with stunning views of the bay. There are also a couple of mini supermarkets for basic supplies a short walk away. You will need a car for this holiday and we arranged ours directly through Kostos and John, along with our airport transfers. Both of which were great and very convenient. This accommodation had everything we needed and we had a wonderful stay in Corfu. We would recommend the short drive (12 minutes) to Ipsos Beach (sandy) and the Blue Lagoon Boat trip through Messonghi Travel Centre. Don't take the long drive to Palaiokastritsa as it is incredibly busy, nowhere to park and very hard to get anywhere. Would definitely advise doing an organised trip if you want to visit. Corfu Old Town is really nice too and as long as you are patient there are places to park free of charge. We would not hesitate in recommending Mirmidones as your place to stay.

We simply loved the house and the staff. Everything we could've asked for was already there - washing machine, dryer, iron, foehn, 2 air conditioners and so on - the house is more than fully equipped. The owner was very polite and helpful. We even asked him to help us rent a car and he arranged everything for us to receive the car at the airport at landing. Upon our arrival, from the owner's side, we received fruits, water and something for breakfast (bread, butter, jam) which we found very cute. The house is very spacious (big bedrooms, living room and balcony)- exactly like it is showed in the pictures - and confortable. It is also child friendly, the adults being able to restrict the acces to the stairs. The house is very close to a lot of sandy beaches with cristal blue water from the south part of the island which we found more beautiful than the rocky ones from the northern part of the island. We also enjoyed the fact that to Petriti beach, shops, restaurants there was a short walking distance from the house. The closest port is Lefkimmi and from there a lot of boats are going on daily cruises to Paxos, Antipaxos and the Caves and also to the Blue Lagoon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
