Not a pleasant experience. Loose sand surroundings himtrek main area, causes lot of dust emission due to vehicles movement for parking. No proper reception, no reception area, does not even offer water, as no workmen of himtrek , only 2 clerical staff posted. Reached yesterday at, 4pm. Huts provided were too hot 🥵 to sit, no fan facility. Weather was hot, no arrangement for guests, having any shelter with even a fan. With the kind of money they charge, you can get a decent hotel rooms at Kasol. Overall a big disappintment

They are working with scammers they first told u there is parking downhill , but once u go down hill you will not able to up again due to angle of road and have to tow your car upwards by paying 5000 rupess. In front of me atleast they towed 5 cars by charging 5000 rupes. Same reason i avoid to stay there.
