Venetia's House

Fantastic location with a fabulous view. Centrally located to travel around island if you have a car. But also everything at your doorstep. Restaurants and supermarkets and small beach. Very clean on arrival.

Beds uncomfortable. I did complain and a thin mattress topper was provided but made little difference as the beds were very hard. I slept in the single bed in other room as softer. No shower head holder so had to hold it over you and spray entire bathroom. Had no communication with host. A neighbour let us in.

Good facilities and good amount of space and comfortable

Lovely house, nice view, great location, just a short walk from Sami. Everything was really clean and great to have air conditioning in both bedrooms.

Posizione ottima e strategica per visitare l'isola, appartamento confortevole con giardino con vista mare. Molto romantico e atmosfera meravigliosa!

Würden immer wieder das kleine Häuschen mieten. Es hat alles was es braucht und die Aussicht und der kleine Garten sind traumhaft! Danke dafür.

Everything. The location, the quietness, everything worked, it’s comfort and cleanliness. The nuts and wine on arrival were lovely. There was ample of everything including bathroom products and toiletries and kitchen utensils. The view was spectacular with 2 options to sit in the shade depending on the sun’s position and the garden was great with lemon and orange tree and herbs ❤️

Great sized property in excellent location, both for views and for access to Sami itself (10 minute walk to quayside). Details say no parking but we had no problem parking in the street outside. Visitors should be prepared for the large number of cats that frequent the garden!

Kitchen equipment a bit lacking, also minor things like no fitting to hold showerhead and some of the electric sockets in the kitchen need attention. However nothing to detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Venetia's House is in a great location on the edge of Sami and overlooking the sea. There is a nice little garden with lemon and orange trees and a sitting area. You can walk into Sami in 5 mins and we also walked to Melissani cave which is well worth a visit. Lots of great restaurants in town so spoilt for choice. We also hired a quad from Andreas at KEFALONIA2RIDE on the front (highly recommended) and visited Antisamos Beach which was lovely - I wouldn't advise walking there, the road is steep and narrow and can get quite busy at times. The house is well equipped and Maria responds very quickly to any queries you may have. She is a great host and as an example we had a problem with the washing machine and her friend Giorgos drove all the way to Argostoli to get a new one on the same day. Perhaps the only thing we would have found useful was a welcome pack explaining how everything worked. We had a lovely time at Venetia's House and would not hesitate in recommending it.
