Villa Rizia

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August and can confidently say it was perfect. Location was great just a 10-15 minute stroll to the town or beach. The pool was lovely and most days we had it to ourselves. We stayed in a self catering apartment with small kitchenette that was fully equipped and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The wonderful hosts Angela and Bobby were exceptional. If your looking for peace and tranquility then we highly recommend Villa Rizia. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Every single thing about this hotel was excellent vs my expectations and the price. A contemporary decor that made it feel higher end than expected, spotless grounds and rooms at all times, wonderful hotel owners Angela and Bobby and excellent home made breakfast available every morning. The hotel is quiet, the pool is a lovely relaxing spot and everything you need is within 10 minutes walk. Kolymbia beach which is a beautiful pebble beach is a walk down the road and Tsambika beach is 10 mins on a bus with the bus stop 1 minute from the hotel. We would happily return for an easy relaxed peaceful week away.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like or weren’t happy with. AC can be temperamental in some rooms but this is the case across the island so not personal to this hotel.

Firstly, the property is in the centre of all the places we visited. Location is excellent, quiet but still with all the amenities like shops, tavernas and pharmacy around. We arrived late and Angela was there to greet us and show us to our room. The room was everything we wanted and the balcony was large and excellent. The pool was a lot of fun too. The property is beautiful. Breakfast was very good also. Couldn’t ask for a better stay or better hosts!

Recently returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Rizia. The host’s Bobby and Angela are really genuine lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all they are more than happy to help. The room was immaculate and cleaned to a very high standard regularly. We enjoyed the continental breakfast on a number of occasions it was delicious with such a variety of food. The pool was lovely with many sun loungers around, we felt the pool was our own on many occasions. On the whole was a really lovely stay and we have booked to return next year.

The property is lovely. Very well maintained, well appointed and clean. Our apartment was spacious and the bed comfortable. The owners and their son Alex were very kind and helpful. Alex took us to the local supermarket to buy food as we didn’t have a car. The pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves for most of the stay.

The patio door lock in our room was broken, but security was maintained by putting a block of wood in the running groove so it couldn’t be opened. Crude but effective.

Handy for going to wedding at a nearby 5 star resort and a hell of a lot cheaper. Lovely well kept gardens. Nearby bus stop back to Rhodes Town. 5 mins walk to several restaurants. Terrace outside rooms.

Aircon seemed a bit temperamental, but maybe I was pressing wrong buttons!

The place is absolutelly amazing. VERY CHARMING apartments in the very clean and green area. The owners are very kind and warm... with their breakfast they let you feel a real greek family atmospher. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED PLACE!!!
