Mehmet Ali Luxury Apartment

We loved the location .It is centrally located in the fortified old City, which is absolutely charming! And, just a 5 minute walk into the modern , contemporary City . We liked the generous space of the apartment and the “ modern esthetic.”

Respectfully , we must mention that the apartment should have been better supplied . There was only one roll of toilet paper provided and it was not even a full roll. There were no paper towels at the kitchen sink to dry hands nor dish towel available to dry the dishes . There were also no napkins provided. All of these items have been standard items in every property we have rented…which is 9 …we are touring Greece. This apartment is advertised as Luxury while standard items are missing! Additionally , there was no small welcoming gift such as a few apples etc. which all other sites have provided. The bathroom needs to be better cleaned …attention to detail along the base of the shower and in corners … very dirty. The sink Area was not clean and needs some update …veneer is peeling around the sink and the tray for holding toiletries as well. ( cannot be classified as “shabby chic “) Neither looked like they were cleaned . The sink itself was OK.

Nothing special

There was no parking place. While searching , It was inficated, there is parking place. Than they said we had to book place for park… Owner suggested to park on street, we could find a place 200 m away and we had to climb to hill 200 meter. Than next morning we found a parking fine which was 30 euro…

A nice apartment in the old town of kavala, near the centre and a lot of beautiful streets and tavernas.
