Hôtel - Restaurant Le Couchetat

La Bresse is a nice town; hotel is few kms uphills with great scenery. Very peaceful. Ideal place for walks and cycle tours (we rent in La Bresse at Sports Passion and managed to reserve via mail. Was perfect). Dinner in the restaurant was really excellent and very convenient! 4-beds room was really great and consisted in fact of 2 separate bedrooms, an entrance and a bathroom.

Emplacement pour randonnées

Wonderful place far away from the village and close to several trekking paths. In addition, the hotel is just 2 minutes walking away from the so called mountain of the lamas, which can be visited with kids. The restaurant of the hotel is sensational. The meals are a cross-over between French and Chilean cuisine. Amazing! I had my best lamb dish ever. The menu also features a varied selection of cocktails. On top of that, one can chose among more than 100 wines. We can recommend the place and we will surely come again.

The rooms could be a bit refurbished.

Nothing but it was my fault not realising the hotel was at the top of a mountain at the end of a narrow steep road

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was exactly what we were looking for: comfort, peace, delicious food, reasonable prices, warm hostesses- all in an idyllic setting. The breakfast was more than enough for us. We really appreciated the fresh country bread, local cheeses, yogurt, eggs, etc. My family had a wonderful time.
