Elegance in the Heart

The location is brilliant. Very near all the tourist sights of Pest, less than 10 minutes from the Danube, near bus, tram and metro stops, and surrounded by cafes and bars. We loved the elegance of the apartment, beautiful original parquet floors, very spacious, high ceilings, lovely windows. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout. Hot water always available. Appreciate 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet.

Towels and bed linen ok but not luxurious. Lift didn’t stop at our floor! Could be noisy very early morning as delivery vehicles used pedestrianised road.

Localização perfeita! Apartamento com bom espaço, mas um pouco estranho na divisão dos cômodos! Mas tem conforto nos quartos e sala!

Tivemos problema com aquecimento da água do banheiro principal! O elevador estava com botão de acesso ao nosso andar estragado! E permaneceu assim durante todo o período! Sobre a limpeza, 1 detalhe…a cafeteira disponível estava completamente inutilizável por conta da sujeira, realmente sem condições, bem ruim mesmo!

The location is very good and you are close to everything. Big nice apartment with all the things you need for a couple of days stay. We were four friends traveling together and had a lot of space.

We stayed during a very hot summer week in the end of June. The apartment does not ventilate that good, especially at night with four of us staying there so it was pretty hot and at times hard to sleep because of the warmth. Otherwise everything was very good.

Loved the location!! Right in the heart of the city center, overlooking a charming bustling pedestrian-only street. I stuck my head out of the windows all the time (no screens), just watching the activity below. Overlooks outdoor restaurants with colorful umbrellas, cafes, shops, etc. No cars!! Loved the size of the apartment - it was HUGE!! We were all able to spread out and have our own rooms, plus lots of common space to hang out. It's a really cool space, you can just feel the history of the building. Super high ceilings, feels historic with furnishings and features. I really loved this place overall with it's charm and being right in middle of all the action. It was really quiet at night and felt safe & magical :)

It was really hot our first 2 days and there was no A/C (per the listing). We asked for more fans but didn't get any. Once it cooled off we were OK. The elevator is very old (really cool though) but didn't always stop at our floor. Plus it ran all night long so our son heard it from his bedroom (window was in stairwell). We requested a slightly later check out as we had to pick up our rental car at the airport that morning and had some delays. We left our teenagers behind to get packed & organized. The cleaning crew arrived at 10:00 on the nose and were yelling at them. No English so it was very upsetting to my kids to be told they had to leave and we were not back yet. A little kindness and understanding would have been appreciated. (not the fault of the apartment and not a reflection on our overall experience)

Location is excellent.

The property is ok but it needs a good clean and to be painted, if the cobwebs were removed it would make a huge difference.

No tea towel and only one bath mat. Bedding needs replacing. Mattress protectors need washing Lift would work onto the first floor which was a real hassle being disabled
