Southlands B&B

The most perfect B&B possible. Jules and Tony are amazing, they welcomed us warmly, with homemade coffee and cake and made sure that we and all their guests had a wonderful stay. The place is lovely, very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Looking forward to coming back! Gal

Jules made us very welcome and gave great advice on good places to eat out, walks around the village and places to visit. It was a lovely house, newly refurbished and the room was clean and comfortable for our our 3 night stay. Breakfast was everything we needed - cereals, fruit juice, tea/coffee, egg on toast although we could easily have chosen full English.

Bourton on the Water can be exceptionally busy at the weekends with day-trippers so make the most of early morning walks and evening strolls.

Het warme onthaal, de ligging, het ontbijt. Tony en Jules doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De b&b ligt ook wat buiten het centrum van Bourton-on-the-Water en dat is een goede zaak. In het dorp kan het bij momenten erg druk zijn.

Onze kamer was niet zo groot, maar dat konden we eigenlijk weten. Er zijn grotere kamers beschikbaar.

Jules greeted us with a drink on arrival to this beautiful B&B. Every detail was well considered and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. It was a short walk from the really busy tourist centre and a great place to stay and see some of the best villages of the Cotswolds.

Southlands B&B was perfect location spotlessly clean lovely breakfast choice. Beautiful sunny garden to sit and relax and walking distance to the center.Jules made us feel so welcome such a lovely lady.

Nothing negative to say about Southlands

Jules and Tony are excellent hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The location is just right, away from the main town itself but only a 10 min walk into the centre and main attractions like the model village and motor museum. One of the other advantages of a b&b over a hotel is having a breakfast freshly cooked to order. Would certainly recommend to anyone for a trip to the Cotswolds.

After a long drive we were met with a friendly welcome along with a drink and a piece lemon drizzle cake. During our stay from breakfast and until leaving we didn't feel that we hadn't stayed at a B&B but felt that we had stayed with old friends. Jules and Tony have created such a warm and friendly atmosphere that we wouldn't really want to stay anywhere else in the Cotswolds. The room was lovely along with breakfast. Not being that far from the village was also great. We would highly recommend Southlands to anyone visiting not only Bourton on the Water but the Cotswolds. Best Wishes Andrew and Cheryl.
