Huntersfield Chalet

We travelled down to meet up with family in the area that some of us had never met before to celebrate my grandfather's 90th birthday. On arrival we were greeted by Seth who showed us around the chalet and got us started. The chalet is in the grounds of a beautiful equestrian centre, neighboured by the house the owners live in. Nico came and introduced himself to us on the first evening, and invited us to walk around the grounds at leisure, advising us where to walk and where the boundary was. The place was so beautifully quiet, the only occasional interruption being the great western trains whooshing by quietly every so often, but not loud enough to be of any concern. I personally have never slept so well in my life before. Beds beautifully comfortable and everything absolutely sparkling. Cannot recommend enough. Seth and Nico are exceptional hosts. Thank you!

Very friendly and welcoming host. There is a wonderful surrounding with lovely horses which my daughters enjoyed riding (we booked riding lessons). Sam is an amazing and professional riding teacher, the kids really liked the experience. We will for sure, do it again.

I think it is better to have a washing machine, even if it is outdoors, in case it is a long stay
