Such a cozy, pretty villa. I would give it 10/10 if the location wasn’t far from everything. But the villa was so pretty, it was clean, the stuffs were super helpful and nice. Would definitely come back if I visit Bali again. It was our best staycation in Bali

"Amazing place, would definitely book again when we come back!"

Amazing property with a beautiful pool just outside and a calm relaxing atmosphere.

Only thing I could say was the doors wouldn’t shut bugs out, so lots of ants.

"Very lovely stay, in a quiet and well maintained accommodation - would always come back"

10.0

- felt a bit bad, but late check-in at 2am was no problem, there was even waiting someone for me. Communication before via booking chat was easy - the whole De Jantux villa compound was very well maintained and nicely lit during nighttime - it is also in a quiet area, but they rent out scooters, so you can be everywhere in ulu in around 20mins - some nice restaurants around, I highly recommend cintalam cafe! - mosquito net over the bed, aircon was powerful and in general everything was clean - I read somewhere the doors to the villa don't close properly, I can't confirm that. Also there is curtains to block the light, so I didn't have a single mosquito or bug in the room during the night - staff was very very nice and welcoming and helped with everything - I ended up extending my stay here, which was made possible with no problems by the lovely staff!

- I also read somewhere the bathrooms are not great, I can also not confirm that. They are perfectly fine. The faucet was a little bit loose and you see that you are in a humid tropical country here and there, but it was clean and everything was working. Also water pressure was good and there was always warm water

This place is amazing. Very relaxing. The staff is great too. Only two tiny things I would like to mention is that no one offered me cleaning the room during 5 days and when it was raining the roof has been leaking but still giving 10/10.

had a nice time. the villas was clean. staff was very helpful and accommodating.

the only issue was that you couldn't find staff night time. so make sure you've stacked up essentials beforehand.

"We left at 9:30pm in the dark (no power). Had to book another stay last minute"

1.0

One of the staff member was very nice and he took care of our laundry. He paid with his own money first which we later paid back.

There are a few things I would like to say about the place: 1. All the doors (except for the kitchen) won’t shut all the way (we stayed at the first Villa as you walk onto the property). To give you an idea of the doors, we left the front doors unlocked the first two days we were there because we couldn’t shut it fully to lock it. 2. Stains on the sheets in the upstairs bed, the pillows were very smelly also. Very visible stains, there were some small blood stains which I suspect is from people scratching their mosquito bites. 3. Insane amount of mosquitos. This is probably because of the doors won’t shut all the way. They give you a mosquitos spray but doesn’t help. The mosquito nets over the beds have holes. To all the first timer Bali travellers, there are lots of mosquitos in general, so be really careful when you book places. 4. Shower area is very dirty, it’s clear it hasn’t been looked after and it’s old. 5. The towels have stains. We got given 4 towels, 3 of them have visible stains. Another thing happened which was once off but really turned our experience sour. We got back around 7:30pm and the power went off at 8:05pm. We messaged straight away and the owner didn’t get there until 8:20ish. We were the only Villa with power off (which the owner later explained that each villa has a separate system). We were standing outside and moving around as we didn’t want to sit inside in the dark getting bitten by mosquitoes. The owner was actively trying to contact the power company and when I asked how long it will take, he said 10 mins and explained he has been trying all afternoon to pay the power bill for our specific Villa. I was trying to use Google Translate to communicate to him. Mind you - this is now close to 9pm. He soon got a little louder with his voice as I was constantly asking him what’s happening, can we be put in a different Villa? He got a little impatient with his tone of voice and started pointing with his fingers at us.
