The Station

The landlord was very pleasant, and the corridor and my room were warm. Everything was clean. The bed was really comfortable and the shower worked. Nice view. That is all I ask for.

The room could be called 'dated' by some. This is no problem for me, everything worked. I was safe and comfortable. There won't be breakfast any more, but you can buy in the village. Cutlery is supplied in the room.

Great quiet location, just 1 minute from the cool harbour and beach.

On arrival i was told that no breakfast or dinner was available as they had closed the kitchen for good. No bar either, yet it is called a hotel! Thankfully though, there is a bar just a minute’s walk which does food and opened in the morning to make breakfast.

No breackfast. Small rooms. Cold eaven central heating was on.

Friendly staff, comfortable room. I was working nights, and the management made sure to keep any noise down to a minimum, to allow me to sleep.

The noise! Loud music from the bar under the room until 12.30. Impossible to sleep until it stopped. No food available.
