Old Farmhouse Annex

Stunning property everything you can think of needing is there for guests. Beautiful surrounding and owners. Stayed with my mum and daughter and unfortunately I ended up in hospital. Colette and Paul were just amazing and saved me so much stress, picking up and dropping off my mum and daughter, making sure they were ok, taking for meal , picking up my daughter from the hospital, relaying info to my husband and finding doctors ect. We overstayed 4 extra days which took the pressure off me otherwise we would have been stuck for accommodation while I was ill. This was our second visit and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We recently spent three nights in the farmhouse annex and had a wonderful stay. The place was peaceful, clean, and full of character, with a lovely blend of rustic charm and comfort. The annex was well-kept, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxed visit. The location was perfect for unwinding — quiet surroundings, beautiful scenery, and a real sense of countryside calm. The hosts were welcoming, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience even better. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and charming getaway.

The space and finishing touches were exceptional, the attention to detail and well stocked kitchen with everything from oil to tin foil. We really appreciated all that Colette had done to make it such a nice stay. We were able to come and go without any intrusion or issues at all. We were seeing family in Cavan Town, so that was only a 20-25 minute drive and with having a hire car, we wanted to be out in a lovely rural area. That also meant we could explore the local area and Marble Caves that are not far away and we had a lovely meal at Tully Mill. Thank you ☺️

This was beautiful accommodation, maintained to an exceptionally high standard in stunning surroundings. Our hosts were really lovely too, making us very welcome and meeting us as we left. Can't recommend this highly enough.

The Annex was absolutely gorgeous. From the beautiful furniture to the picturesque views and garden, we felt so relaxed in a bubble of our own. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations for activities and places to eat and really making us feel at home. I loved the small details that they added within the house - bathroom slippers, darker towels should you have tanning products, a jar of treats in the kitchen, magnet wooden trays on the sofa (to put our tea and snacks on), there was even a picnic basket downstairs! We really loved our stay here and would definitely recommend:)

It was very clean with everything you needed. Colette was always available but we also had our privacy. It was lovely and quiet and very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Really fantastic accomodation and very friendly hosts, will be back.
