The Old Exchange

Had a lovely stay. It’s a good central location and good value compared with other places. The room was lovely and the breakfast was great. Would defo stay here again if we were in Clifden.

The room was nice and comfortable and close to town. We found parking just around the corner. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Best we have had our whole trip.

The shower in our room didn’t work. Great if you want a cold shower but no hot water.

I liked the decor, the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, tv in room. Good communication from host. Central location. Good coffee.

Shower a bit dated. Could do with modernising.

Breakfast is a simple layout of the basics: bread, toast, jam, butter, cereals, fresh fruit, cheeses, deli meats, yogurt, granola coffee or cappuccino, teas, juices etc...we are not breakfast eaters ourselves, but the tea and coffee was welcome

Very helpful and attentive staff, very close to bus and to restaurants and shops. Quiet area.

No chair in room, no glass in bathroom, and no place in bathroom for toiletries. Cold breakfast except for toast and coffee / tea.

- Lovely location, beautiful old building with large windows, fireplace and other classic period features - Ultra soft carpets - Very clean and good quality bedding, firm and soft pillows, comfy beds - Excellent breakfast room with proper coffee machine and ample selection of teas - Lovely friendly host, helpful on all levels

- Minor point but shower pressure was a bit low on second day for some reason
