DEVasu was a fantastic host, I felt like part of the family. I spent a lot of time with the lovely family and was able to gain wonderful insights into life in Hampi. I was even invited to a family celebration and was allowed to wear a Sari from Vasu's mom. If you want to experience real life in Karnataka, I can't think of a better host. Vasu did everything humanly possible to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very clean. I ate delicious homemade dinner every day. 10 out of 10 points, hands down! ✨
AUWe absolutely loved this place. It's clean and comfortable and close to all the sights, but most importantly you'll be staying with a lovely family who can also provide delicious food at a very reasonable price. We ended up having all of our meals there. They also organised a very good tuk tuk driver for us to get to and from the train station and around all the sights. Thank you for everything!

USOur room was basic but very clean, with AC, window screens, ceiling fan and all necessary amenities. The weather was warm, even in January, but our hosts were generous with bottles of manufactured drinking water whenever we asked. We felt that staying in Kadirampura was a good choice. The best bicycle rental shop in the area is just down the street from the Homestay and we rode bicycles to Hampi, Kamalapur, temples and other tourist sites in the region, and the surrounding countryside. The main road to Hampi is just two blocks away but the vicinity of the Homestay is relatively quiet except for the sounds of neighborhood kids playing and the rooster next door. The main reason that we can recommend this Homestay highly is the kindness of our hosts, who treated us like family for our entire stay. We received a text as we arrived at Hoepete station on the overnight train, and as we exited the station an autorickshaw driver was waiting to take us to Kadirampura. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Homestay every day. The food was freshly prepared, healthy and delicious. It was easy to arrange autorickshaw travel to any local destination as needed. We suggest that guests be prepared to pay via Phone Pe, since payment by credit card is not available. If you are not set up to pay via Phone Pe, it would be reasonable to plan ahead and have the necessary rupees in cash prior to your departure date.
We would have taken advantage of other payment options if they had been available.
USThe host was very friendly and helpful. He arranged tuk tuk pick up to and from Hospet train station and a driver for two days of touring the area. He even arranged my train booking to Bijapur. The homestay was very comfortable and excellent value. Highly recommend.
