Overall, the place is very good. You should understand what to expect. The whole villa is an old style building with old style room, all decorated as it was many years ago... That's fun. The elevator is modern. The room was spacious, all worked well - hot water, A/C, lights - you just need to figure out how to operate. The staff was friendly, I got late checkout with no charges. The location is good. Chandigarh is huge, but this place is quite close to the points of interest, and it's even possible walk to the lake. Breakfast is not rich but decent, but good and tasty. You need to order your main entry in advance.

The beds are not too comfortable, even with the softener layer they kindly offered. The bath is ok but not too inviting. They recommended Uber service for getting there from Chandigarh airport, without explaining about taxi scams related to parking and state taxes fees. The supervisor at the hotel sides with the driver upon arrival. This or either way, they need to guide guests better on legitimate vs. scam charges for airport taxi.

It’s a private room away from the noise of hotels and markets and yet very close to them. One gets home cooked fresh breakfast in the morning and if you are lucky you get to meet Dan, a Bollywood actor.

Would be good to have few Mats in the bathroom at shower exit and toilet area.

The host and staff were amazing. It could be in the price range of Rs 4000 to 6000 tax included.

Beautiful property, full of character, felt in very safe hands with the captain and his great team. Breakfast was delicious!

Unfortunately we weren’t able to have a late check out which would have made our trip a little smoother

Magnifique maison d’hôte superbement bien décorée. Les chambres immenses offrent tout le confort moderne dans une ambiance délicieusement art déco. Les parties communes ressemblent plus à un musée qu’à un hôtel. Le propriétaire, ancien capitaine au long cours, vous fait l’honneur de la visite. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Adresse atypique dans une ville atypique.
