Bella casa greca classica con mura bianche e persiane azzurre, su più piani. Il plus la terrazza con vista sulla baia, ombreggiata da vite e buganvillea e perfetta per mangiare e rilassarsi! Letti e bagni molto confortevoli così come il salottino: divani comodissimi. Cucina piccola ma molto ben attrezzata con ben 2 frigo/freezer e barbecue! Nicholas, il responsabile sul posto, sempre molto disponibile! Una casa in cui sicuramente tornare!

Cleanliness, mouldy shower curtain and kitchen, dirty utensils, bbq, mouse or rat droppings on the bed, has to put tissues in a hole in the ceiling to prevent more drippings from the attic area, cobwebs, kitchen floor dirt swept into a corner

Nicholas met us at the boat - fabulous reception, friendly face and welcome. Apartment is a great layout, wonderful terrace, AC and wifi were CRUCIAL and worked super. Really appreciated the little BBQ. Bathroom is snug.... :-). Be ready and fit to climb those 140 stairs!

An incredibly charming and characterful property with magnificent views over Symi harbour and town. The courtyard in particular is beautiful (and probably the property's finest asset). The location is excellent on the east side of the harbour, a ten minute walk into the centre of Symi town. Our hosts were brilliant (particularly Nicholas, who took us - and our luggage! - from and to the ferry). Ultimately we had a wonderful stay but the property has limitations that visitors should be aware of.

The property is basic in terms of amenities. The main issue is the bathrooms (which are rather old, not very clean and poorly ventilated). You are also asked not to flush toilet paper down the toilets (apparently this is a wider problem in Symi, so we can't necessarily blame the property). The kitchen is also miniscule, and there is no washing machine so you can't do any laundry mid-stay (unless you do it manually - which we did - or use one of the laundromats in town). For these reasons (and accepting Symi is expensive), ultimately I think the price is high, and some guests will expect more comfort. The property is also unlikely to be suitable for less mobile guests (the sleeping area in the upstairs apartment is a small mezzanine, and the steps up to the property from town are steep - but that is typical for Symi).
