My partner and I liked the fact that we extended our stay and they managed to put us in the same room so we don't have to move. A s well as the restaurant is great!

"Not worth the hassle."

It's nice to be right on the beach. The room is an OK size and it's nice to have a fridge. The shower was modern and the room was clean. We had a very small terrace with a view of the sea and a place to hang wet things.

To start with practicalities, the room only had one power socket which had the one and only bedside lamp in it, so charging more than one device is problematic (unless you unplug the telly / fridge, or balance something above the loo using the shave plug). Patchy Wifi, no hairdryer provided, and we did not find the bed comfortable. Terrace has the aircon vent point directly over it so it's unusable if someone inside wants the aircon. A hairdryer and multi-plug would help a lot. Be aware, the property only accept payment in cash and refuse to provide any sort of useful receipt/invoice/proof of payment. When we asked, we were given a restaurant bill slip without confirmation of payment. We really needed one, so contacted booking.com for support, and apparently even their communication with the property was ignored. We have still received nothing. We were also unpleasantly surprised to find that the owner insisted on holding both our ID documents until payment was made, instead of the more usual 'scan and return' approach. The documents of everyone on site seem to be stored in an unlocked drawer in the front area accessible by anyone passing, which seemed very vulnerable. We could have got over all of this, apart from the fact that we found the owner unwelcoming and rude to the point of hostile. Nothing was explained clearly to us, which was particularly uncomfortable regarding the ID/payment situation.
