It was a bit difficult to find. A notice !B&B at he bottom of their road would have helped. It s an old manor house with two staircases. TV s in the residents lounge not in bedroom. Pub is nearby for food. Breakfast reasonable. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questa splendida tenuta immersa nella campagna inglese: un luogo incantevole, tranquillo e strategico, a circa un’ora dai luoghi che avevamo programmato di visitare e comodissimo per raggiungere la Jurassic Coast. Nicky è una padrona di casa straordinaria, accogliente e generosa. Le sue colazioni sono state semplicemente superlative, preparate con cura e abbondanza, e l’atmosfera che si respira è quella di sentirsi parte della famiglia. Abbiamo trascorso piacevoli chiacchiere insieme, scoprendo di più sul lavoro nella tenuta e sugli animali che la popolano, compresi i loro tre cani adorabili e affettuosissimi con cui abbiamo giocato a lungo. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che, la seconda mattina, invece di ripartire subito, abbiamo accolto l’invito di Nicky a visitare la tenuta: abbiamo conosciuto i cavalli, i due simpatici asinelli, i vitellini e ascoltato i racconti sulle coltivazioni stagionali che portano avanti con tanta passione. Un’esperienza autentica, calorosa e indimenticabile: torneremmo senza esitazione!

Amazing historical building, also a working farmhouse. We really enjoyed the breakfast and beautiful walks straight outside the door. Nicky was very thoughtful and a great host, thank you for a fab weekend

Super locatie, super personeel/eigenaren, ongedwongen sfeer.

Mooie locatie, je bent middenin een boeren bedrijf. Alles kan en wordt verzorgt. Gastheer en vrouw zijn druk met de beesten van de boerderij maar je krijgt alles wat je nodig hebt.

Friendliness, amazing house and chapel very historic and interesting. Loved meeting other guests at breakfast table.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts and beautiful grounds. Great breakfast, comfy bed, and gorgeous views.
