Vinayaka Homestay Hampi

Really friendly and welcoming host. Delicious food

The check-out time is 9 am which was inconveniently early. However, the host offered me to store my luggage until my train left, so it wasn't too bad.

Paramesh and his family were extremely hospitable and welcoming during our stay. He went above and beyond to accommodate us from our late arrival to helping us book travel when leaving.

The Homestay was so so lovely. The location is in New Hampi which is out of Hampi but it is cheap to either walk to the main road and get the local bus - great experience - or get a tuk tuk. I liked being out of Hampi. It is only 10 mins on tuk tuk. The room had hot water, lots of space, huge bed, clean and tidy. There is an area to sit outside which was nice and the Homestay can make you breakfast and dinner for a small price. We often opted for this and it was always really nice and great to eat different things within Indian food. The family were lovely and we got so much help with what to do whilst there, how to get away to Goa and just super friendly which makes it easier to ask questions. We even checked in very late as our train arrived at 2am.

The only thing was the room was quite hot and we had the fan only room. This didn't matter to us though.

The owner were really friendly, authentic and helpful. The room was nice especially with the rooftop in front that you can sit outside. We rent a bike - The rentstore was walkable from the Homestay. Restaurants are in walkable distance. We ordered breakfast at the homestay and got a big coffee and on two days we got different food! The WiFi was good that you also can make phonecalls. We could leave our luggage during the day at the house downstairs before we toke the nightbus. The bus to hampi and hosampete goes every 30 minutes from the main road, so its also walkable.

The owners make advertisements with sustainability and indeed they turned for example the WiFi off when noboday was there and they use solar power. That was really good. But in the end they gave us a plastic businesscard.

It was like a proper homestay. We ate local homemade cuisine at decent price and the owner was really really helpful. The rooms were clean and all sightseeing places were within 6-7kms

Very lovely and helpful hosts. Delicious food and lovely family. Nice local neighbourhood about 10 mins drive from Hampi. The owner helped with anything I needed. Thank you!
