Larimar Hotel Cesme

Friendly staff, nice room, great location. All perfect

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. Excellent location, comfortable clean room and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit Larimar Hotel on my next trip to Cesme.

On the positive side, we can note the beautiful sea view from the window, very polite staff, convenient location of the hotel. There is a noisy air conditioner, kettle, water, coffee, tea.

Now about the unpleasant. I don't want to return to this hotel because of the owner's policy. Upon check-in, they had to be reminded that we have breakfast included. The room was ready right away. The room itself is in terrible condition: dirty walls, unwashed windows, bad locks. The toilet and especially the shower cause a feeling of disgust, the plumbing is rusty, there are leaks. There is always water on the floor. There was no soap (there was only shampoo and shower gel), the towels were stiff, with brown spots. We were left with only half a roll of toilet paper and slippers with traces of mold. The hotel has wifi, but my girlfriend's was working very poorly, every other time. By the evening of the first day, we felt a strong smell of sewage. We asked to resolve this issue and by the time we returned from a walk, there was no smell in the room. The next day, the problem was repeated. The smell was so strong that it was impossible to be in the toilet. We asked to change the room and were moved to another room. It was bigger, cleaner, newer. There was a full set of soft towels. Our booking included breakfast. But it's hard to call it 'breakfast', it includes a glass of tea (nothing else is offered), half a chopped cucumber, one boiled egg, three pieces of cheese, some jam, bread. It's impossible to get enough of this breakfast. On the second day, we asked to add an omelet and something meat, but we were offered to pay extra. We asked for a refund for breakfast, but we were refused. We left the hotel hungry. It is probably better not to offer such a breakfast to guests at all, it looks pathetic and once again demonstrates the stinginess of the hotel owner. We did not find any Turkish hospitality or attention. We do not recommend booking this hotel for a long period.

The garden view room doesn’t receive a lot of day light and therefore feels a bit humid

The Owners and Workers are very very friendly, many thanks to them, it was so nice to be there!! The room is nice and has a tremendous view.

There are some defizits in the technique and the bathroom, but you cannot expext for the price a 6 stars hotel, so for us everything was ok. Could be loud in the night and early in the morning because of the boats or people.
