CASA RURAL "ECCEHOMO de BORJA"

La calefacción en el salón y baño no son suficientes, queríamos chimenea y ha sido imposible encenderla porque la leña estaba húmeda, sería necesario que hubiera leña seca pequeña dentro para poder usarla, la de fuera no prende.. Hemos pasado mucho frío. La casa está para hacer alguna reforma. La propietaria es muy amable y eso es de agradecer, pero debería invertir más en el mantenimiento.

Nada, estuvimos muy incómodos en este fin de semana, poco ideal para poder competir, que necesitabamos descansar.

Deficiencias y problemas del apartamento: - De la bomba de calor sale frío sin aviso previo, tras un tiempo funcionando en el dormitorio que da a la calle. Se arregla apagándolo. ( en la calle hay -1 grado C). - La chimenea está sin leña . Tras buscar leña en la calle, la encendemos y el tiro de la chimenea no funciona. Toda la casa se llena de humo. Toca ventilar. - Humedades en paredes. - Colección de pelusas bajo las camas. Suciedad general de toda la casa. - Colchones y somieres viejos que se clavan en la espalda donde no se puede dormir. - Mesillas sin cajones, sin lampara y sin enchufes. - Todas las puertas rotas (con agujeros, sin bisagras, no cierran, picaportes bloqueados.) - El grifo de la cocina al moverlo se cae y se sale el agua. Lo arreglamos. Estaba desenroscado. - El friso de madera de una pared se cae al mover la cortina. - Paredes sucias, una con marcas de manos. - Ruido constante del compresor del A/A. Está debajo de la ventana de un dormitorio. - ⁠Puertas de muebles de cocina descolgadas. - ⁠Ventana de la cocina no cierra. - ⁠Mando de AA sin pilas. -Cerrojo puerta de aseo roto.

Fue un desastre ,humedades por las paredes,el olor de la casa era vater como si la tubería estuviese rota y no se podía estar , lo cogimos para 2 días y solo estuvimos 1 noche . Habían bichos por las paredes y no estaba muy limpio. Tube que coger un hotel por que no se podía estar.

Es una casa sencilla... como la casa del pueblo de la abuela . Por mejorar quizás alguna cosa que estaba rotilla, pero en general bien

Lo que más nos ha gustado es el espacio de terraza, con vistas a los viñedos y campos! Raquel muy amable y generosa, con detalles a nuestra llegada

Hay cosas que se podrían mejorar, pero en general era acorde a lo que buscábamos

Fantastic internet signal, probably the best I've had anywhere in the world. Views over the surrounding countryside are spectacular. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living room. The Fridge/freezer worked extremely well, though an ice tray would have been a bonus. Car parking was easy and straight outside the property. Bottle of wine offered on arrival. Easy to switch languages on the TV for English language programmes. Negatives - three toilet rolls for a 17 day stay, toiletries was a soap dispenser on the sink, No plugs for sinks, smell from shower drain, Hinges on table were more Fred Flintstone than Barry Bucknall. Edging strips missing from work tops (see pics). Wrong address given in description - it's Paseo de Tomilo not as shown in the ad. Bedrooms were very damp (see pics). Strong smell of wood smoke pervaded everything. Terrace overlooked overflowing communal bins (see pics) leading to flies everywhere. Evidence of mouse nest behind washing machine (see pics). Ant infestation (see pics) in kitchen and had to buy ant powder. Bathroom needs blasting with Cilit Bang (see pics), Couldn't get on with the shower so used facilities at the local pools. Shutters/blinds didn't work. Burn mark on cushions. Be aware that you won't get all of the building, there is a flat above (see pics of large window) that drilled until 10 p.m. on 26th. of June and drilled and sawed up to 10 p.m. on Sunday the 29th. Perhaps it was because of all the negative publicity surrounding Brits in Spain, that we were given this hovel? Neighbour was dumping garden cuttings behind my car (see pics), no feet on underside of toilet seat. (see pics). Worst stay ever. Avoid !!!

Where do I start? There is no pool at this property despite the advert on Booking.com showing two different pics of a pool. The pool belongs to the property next door. After complaining, we were given a key to "share" the pool with strangers - we never used the key or the pool. Rachel failed to arrive a pre-arranged time to hand over the key so we wasted a day. Read the description and look at the photos very carefully, and then double check with the owners. We booked on the 25th. of January before a June/July stay and felt we were deceived so I asked for a refund on the 24th. of June after the washing machine conked out. It was so old that replacement parts couldn't be found, and so a new washing machine was installed. We didn't get a refund. The property and barbecue hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival (see pics) and there was no dustpan and brush to pick up dirt from the floor. There was no bucket for the mop either. Don't bother turning up early to get in as you'll be disappointed - we had to wait around in 40+ degree heat to be allowed in on the dot - and even then a Spanish family muscled in before us - it was so hot that my plastic biscuit tub melted in my car (see pic). No instructions on any of the appliances in any languages. Beds creaked like something out of a Carry On film, and the main bed had a plastic/polythene (for those with enuresis?) under sheet that was noisy every time we turned over. Nearly every door on the kitchen cabinets had failed or was loose (see pics), handle on cabinet was broken, handle on dishwasher was missing (see pics) and two sharp screw points exposed (see pics), poor latch on the upper door to terrace was also broken. Furniture was fit for the local tip and I'd be ashamed to offer it on Freegle. Very dangerous floors with sharp tile edges on some door thresholds and the surface of the upper terrace was cracking up and had many trip hazards.
