Brekner Rooms

It was a large comfortable room right in the old town section. The location was fantastic. The host was nice and provided breakfast every morning. Finding the location was tricky. It's across the street from the restaurant Lumos, with the name Brekner Rooms written on the door

. This location has 3 rooms - one without a window and two with windows. I initially rented the room with 2 beds (see picture on website). There was a bad smell in the room, but the host offered a different room and the second room was fine. I peeked in the windowless room, and there was no smell there either. I saw one review complain about the stairs. It's only one level up and while the stairs spiral, the steps were large. Based on the review, I was picturing tiny stairs, but that wasn't the case.

Poor and cold breakfast!

The location is right in the centre of Sibiu. Great coffe workplace and breakfast just at the entrance of the building at a coffee shop. The room was clean and comfortable.

Owner was very pleasant, breakfast was tasty and each day had different variety. You get a pretty large portion as well so you'll be saving money as a result. Small room but you have all the essentials, kettle, fridge, TV with YouTube, good spacious shower and overall very clean room. The room itself was dead centre of old town so very convenient to get around.

The trip at the end of December left an unforgettable experience! The reserved three -seat number Dlux fully justified the expectation. Despite the fact that the window went straight to the noisy Christmas square, there was silence in the room thanks to excellent sound insulation. Heating worked flawlessly, creating a cozy atmosphere. The owner was very hospitable and was always ready to help. For travelers by car, it is worth considering that parking in the historical center of the city is limited. If there are problems with the parking lot, you can use paid parking (Strada Moș Ion Roată Sibiu 557260). (Coordinates: 45.797370, 24.148226), where there are usually free places. The distance to housing is only 280 meters, which is very convenient.
