Wilderness Motel Accommodation

The bed linen was stained and not clean, hair in the bed on the sheets. Bathroom was not clean. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to stay and NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.

Bit of a musty smell, mothballs or something.

It was available and it is a small settlement without a lot of other accommodation. The owner tried to be very accommodating.

IT is really a backpackers motel with a few motel units sort of separated from the backpacker accommodation. No fridge in the room, but there was a common kitchen available for “ motel guests”

Location

Quite costly compared to other similar properties. The proprietor failed to let us know that the major road along the coast would be closed for four hours each day. Fortunately we rushed out of the room in time to get past the construction area before it closed. Had we taken a leisurely more leisurely pace leaving, we could've been stuck for four hours behind construction equipment.

Expensive room for what it was - same price as other more comfortable motels and it's a back packers....
