"Outstanding stay with a warm welcome in an exceptional property."

Fabulous! One of the best Guest Houses we ever stayed in. Our room was well appointed, very spacious and everything was of superior quality. Fantastic bathroom, plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. (Those who travel around the UK will know that this is a very big bonus, especially in a historic building.) Breakfast was cooked to order, plentyful and super tasty. Finally, we were made very welcomed by Angela and Alex and they provided us with some great sightseeing tips. Parking was also very easy. Highly recommended.

Nice clean quiet property Ample on Road parking Decent size bedroom with comfortable bed and very nice linen Very nice hot powerful shower Stocked regularly with teabags and biscuits…. Even had de-caff Yorkshire teabags which are my favourite Good selection for breakfast which was very tasty Hosts were very polite and helpful…. We being tea drinkers loved their extra service of fresh milk available in a flask for us Hosts gave us a lot of their local knowledge of the area which was very helpful Would be more than happy to stay with them again if the opportunity arose

"It’s a gem of a place you won’t be disappointed"

Hosts so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Cleanliness superb with a lovely comfortable bed. Great offering for breakfast, choice of fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, variety of cereals and the best English breakfast. The nicest poached egg I’ve ever eaten. Little gestures in the room with different tea types and coffee with mini eggs and bars of chocolate with it being Easter. Towels very fluffy and lots of them.
