The location was amazing, walking distance from the wave and everything in town. The staff are amazing! They were extremely hospitable and welcoming and I felt they treated me and the other guests as family. I would definitely come back to stay at Hotel Swell Pavones.

My room like many in the surf hostels in town did not have air conditioning.

Amazing place in amazing Pavones. Owner prepared for us best pasta ever. We had a great time here! We had room nr.1 it was private and calm place. Near was tree with a lot of Ara.

This was an amazing stay! We are two surfers and loved the stay here. The room and location are very nice, but for us the staff and owner are the real selling points. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The owner made tuna for us twice and fixed our flat tire without expecting anything in return. We had a great time here!

"construction work ruined the peace"

Nice kitchen area, close to the beach, Ruben, the guy working there, was welcoming, very friendly and nice to talk to.

There was construction work going on above our room (they are building a second floor), from 8am it was very noisy. I told the owner that we are disturbed by the noise but not much changed. They should at least be honest and tell guests before their booking about construction work. Our room never got cleaned in four days. At least should empty the bin in the bathroom. We felt like exept of Ruben, noone cared really about guests or service.

"good value and friendly people"

hotel swell is in a great location right in the center of town and just a short walk to the beach, the surf break and the river. the rooms are simple with no frills but for the price it was good. however the owner Walter and manager Ruben went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Walter had us for dinner and made a delicious fresh seafood pasta and Ruben was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. I recommend hotel swell!

very few things, but as a suggestion it would have a shower curtain to help not to wet things inside the bathroom
