The Jini House

Great stay. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. The younger brother who is working there is very nice and friendly and makes your stay very pleasant. Good location for Kabalana beach, but long walking distance to the main area (which we did not mind).

Beds are too short for western people.

The most amazing place we stayed in Sri Lanka !! Clean rooms, nice vibe , quiet perfect location Never felt so welcomed and the family that owns the place are so kind and helpful !!

Had a great stay at the Jini House for three nights! Her and her family are great hosts and truly care about their guests! If you have the chance to stay with them, don’t hesitate, you’ll be in good hands :)

My stay exceeded my expectations. The room was large, very comfortable and exactly as pictured. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. AC worked well as did the cieling fan. Bed was very comfortable. The family who owns the property is very kind and gracious. They provided top quality service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Breakfast was very good and filling. The pool is clean and nice to enjoy after a long day out. The property is only an 8 minute walk or so to Kabalana beach and a 10 minute walk to some good restaurants. Ahangama beach with a larger strip of restaurants is a short tuk tuk ride away.

My partner and I spent one night at the Jini House and we were amazed by the service, the staff and the breakfast! The room was very naturalistic: with stones, ropes, a lot of light and plants. The breakfast was delicious and included a lot of food (eggs of your choice, sourdough bread, muesli, cake, pancakes etc.). It also has a swimming pool and it is positioned in a nice quiet area near the beach. Ideal place if you want to visit Ahanghama, Mirissa, and everything in between. We will definitely be back!

Great base for exploring Ahangama, set a little way back from the main road. My room was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. Would happily recommend to a friend.

Amazing home stay with kind family, best breakfast on our trip, beautiful room & bathroom and a nice pool to cool down. They also rent bikes and scooters, organise rooftop yoga, do laundry... So you have everything you need in one spot in a nice and quiet location near Kabalana beach.
