"Exceptional"

Far and away one of my favourite overnight stays ever. So much so that we extended by a night due to how much we loved the place. The house is exquisite and the grounds are equally as beautiful, with old world charm and elegance. The breakfast was delicious. The managers and staff felt like family, and treated us like we belonged there, which made all the difference. Cannot wait to go back and visit again :)

There is nothing not to like. It's as close to perfect as I think an accommodation can get, for us personally in any case.

Breakfast was great, the place was very neat and tidy and staff was very friendly

It was very cold in the house. More could have been done to heat the place especially in winter.

"A beautiful hidden unexpected gem in Caledon"

Petrus was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. We were much later than indicated and it was no problem. He went out of his way to help us. He also booked a restaurant for us. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and we had everything we needed. The garden and outlook from the verandah was beautiful and we loved having breakfast out there.
