"Excellent"

The staff were wonderful and the building is historic and has loads of character. Felt very festive, with the tree, log fire and decorations.

The room needed TLC. Towel rail fell off twice and the shower was difficult to hang up.

"Good, but wouldn't go again"

The location was good as far as we were concerned as we wanted to be near (ish) to the canal as our daughter has a canal boat. We did not have breakfast and none was offered, but we had breakfast with our daughter on her boat. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, and was quiet.

We stayed for two nights and our room was not cleaned or checked at all!

The shower had no power. Checking in was poor. No one there and phone call went straight to voicemail.
