Su'ro Bed and Breakfast

Very comfortable room. Nice bed. Shower in the room, toilet in the hall. A very well-designed and stylish conversion of a typical old house in a quiet neighboirhood. Kris is an excellent host, very friendly and easy-going with lots of great recommendations for Ghent, which is a beautiful, under-appreciated city. We were only there two nights but could have stayed longer quite happily. Excellent breakfast.

People with mobility issues might want to consult Kris before booking. We are mid-60s and managed fine but it is a healthy climb to the top.

Kris is a so nice and hospitalized host. We talked with him a lot about everything and he helped us to find the best answers for our questions related to shopping and beautiful area in Ghent. Su'ro is not a hotel, it is a real home.

Su’ro is very convenient - everything we needed. It has a lovely yard, the room and the bathroom are big, it’s walking distance from the centre and about 5min away from a supermarket. It’s a quiet street, so we slept well. I loved that the windows have outside shutters and can be darkened, but my highlight was the breakfast and getting to know Kris - our host!

We stayed at Su’ro for 4 nights and highly recommend it. Not everything went to plan but Kris’s handling of it was impeccable! He is a host that genuinely wants his guests to have the best possible experience and he will do whatever he can to ensure that. So, when major roadworks were planned for the street, he notified us early and offerred the chance to cancel (we didn’t). Then when unexpected kitchen renovations impacted our stay he paid for a night in a hotel of our choice, and then compensated us further - all voluntarily. We liked the “Sandra” room on the 3rd floor and appreciated assistance with carrying luggage upstairs. The room is not large but is well fitted out with plenty of storage, a very comfortable bed and a large window for ventilation, light and an attractive view. We actually quite liked that the toilet wasn’t in the room. Lots of toiletries, coffee machine, tea etc. Breakfast was plentiful, and very good quality, even including cooked eggs, ham, cheese etc (above standard continental) The nearby 5a bus made getting around easy and Kris drove us to and from the station.

Polecam Su`ro B&B!. Czysto, śniadanie bardzo dobre. Do tego właściciel bardzo miły, można poczuć się jak w domu.

Fantastic and friendly host who do his utmost to make your stay good. Host have a service where he picks you up and leave you at the train station if talk to him. Great breakfast included and prepared by your host. Great comfortable bed. The ability loan bicycles from the host. In my opinion yes it cost a bit more than perhaps you are willing to spend but still compared to what you get and prices in central Ghent i still think it is a good deal.

If every room included a toilet and not having to go out of your room to use it. ( You are informed of that when booking the room) location is a bit hit and miss. Good it is cheaper and more quiet by being a bit away but you do have the distance both to either the main train station and the city center.

Кімната виявилася бездоганною для проживання, обладнана всім необхідним, є чайник, кавоварка, кондиціонер, чисті зручеі ліжка, водичка, а Ваші компліменти у вигляді маленьких шоколадок і цукерочки полонили наші серця))) такі маленькі приємні моменти додають гарного настрою на весь день. Чистота на найвищому рівні, місце розташування помешкання гарне, тихий район, співали пташки, є гарна тераса, на якій ми вечеряли, до залізничної станції йти 15 хвилин, до центру теж недалеко, краще прогулюватися пішки вуличками відкриваючи для себе прекрасний Гент, не їхати громадським транспортом. За всі роки моїх подорожей це помешкання і його чудовий, позитивний і дуже уважний господар виявились найкращими де я проживала. Буду радити всім залишатися у цьому помешканні, щоб отримувати максимальне задоволення від проживання та перебуванні у Генті. Кріс- Ви найкращий!!!! Ми з моєю подругою згадуємо Вашу гостинність досі, ми були у Вас принцесами)) Ми обов’язково повернемося ще в прекрасний Гент, і завітаємо до Вас знову!
