Apartments Lara - Split Croatia

Das Apartment war top ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit und versucht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top, man erreicht alles fußläufig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🤩

So, there are very few places I consider being a 10 and this is one of them. The host was amazing, super friendly and eager to help with anything. The apartment has everything needed and more, the host was very careful with all the small details. They greeted us with some fruits in the kitchen. The swimming pool is very clean, and the area there is very nice cozy. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable, with two types of pillows. You have a washing machine, dishwasher, two types of coffee machines. The beach is very close by and you also have lots of restaurants on the shore. There is a bus station very close where you can get a bus to Split, it will take like 20 minutes by bus to get in the main town and 10 minutes by car. I recommend this location because it's not that crowded and you have everything you need there.

The location of the apartments is great - very close to the beach and a selection of shops/restaurants, and only a cheap bolt into Split between us. The host was very kind and attentive, and showed us around as soon as we arrived. There was a generous amount of supplies provided (toiletries, kitchen supplies etc) and the pool was always very quiet. The bbq area was also lovely! Overall a great stay.

Lara apts are only a couple of minutes from the beach and restaurants. The place is clean and of a high standard. Uber into Split is anywhere between 4 and 9 pound. When we arrived we were surprised at the amount of items available for our use.

We like everything about the apartment and area, however we were disappointed to find no sun loungers or umbrellas available at local beaches.

We were pleasantly surprised by how attentive out Host was. He accommodated our late arrival, personally provided the key and provided lots of money saving tips on how to get around, where to visit, and suggested the best places to go for groceries and dinning. He kindly sent us all the information (as there was a lot) when we asked and set up the pool (remove pool cover etc) and lounge chairs everyday. Even though we didn't use the BBQ, he put out a bag of coal for us to use if we wanted it during our stay. At the beginning of our holiday, when we arrived we found complimentary refreshments (fresh fruit, juice and wine) waiting for us which we were grateful for as a 21:30 check in - we didn't know where to go to eat, especially as our young kids were ready to sleep. There were also a few groceries in the cupboards too! My partner was very pleasantly surprised to see that there were a lot of toiletries provided as a lot of the time we would have to purchase these when booking other accommodations. The pictures of the accommodation were exactly as shown and there were quite a few restaurants and a beaches close by which were 5-10 minutes walk. We enjoyed our holiday during the Easter break and attended Mass for Easter Sunday, in a nearby Church, which was also about a 8 minute walk. As the Church was very full, my partner and I stood outside and listened to the mass in Croatian. We found the locals to be very hospitable and voluntarily gave up their seats for the children and my Mother-in-law when they went inside. The restaurants serve fresh fish as they are near the docks but also serve meat dishes such as chicken, beef burgers along with seasonal vegetables which was delicious. The local grocery store nearby sold fresh meat and vegetable along with all the essentials you would need for a holiday.

Through no fault of our Host, there was a cat that seemed quite fond of the property. We found out that previous guests may have been feeding the cat, therefore the cat kept returning for an appearance. Our Children loved the cat and named it Ginger...it was not actually ginger.
