It was a pleasant stay. Especially the receptionist was extraordinary friendly. Always smiling and super helpful whenever I had any questions. I wish in every hotel they had staff like that. 😊

It wasn't possible to make the room completely dark. The sunrise here is very early so that's bothering a little and should be improved.

Merai was excellent. It's slightly further away from some of the main tourist spots, but the place is clean, comfortable, new. We booked initially based purely on price, but booked again on our return to almaty because it was such a good experience.

There was some construction noise in the day time, by that'll be gone once they finish what looks like an expansion wing.
