"Lovely staff, fabulous baths, great location"

The staff here were absolutely wonderful at every turn. We were travelling with a 6 month old baby and they were incredibly accommodating and kind. The baths are lovely, both the public and private ones. Incredible kaiseki dinners and settings for them with fire pits. Lovely room with good heating. Beautiful decorations throughout the property which felt loved and well looked after.

Los onsen privados que tienen en el resort interior/exterior son fantásticos. Te facilitan pijamas y kimonos para acceder a ellos. El personal es súper amable, están pendientes de tus necesidades en todo momento. El desayuno tradicional en un horikotatsu es lo más auténtico con mucha variedad de comida. La habitacion se compone de cuatro estancias: dormitorio, salon, salón de té y porche con jardin, además de baño. Todo ello con decoración tradicional japonesa. Si reservas la cena puedes realizarla en el hotel, si no, hay un restaurante izakaya al lado mismo con platos típicos muy buenos. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Arigato gozaimasu.

El cuidado del jardín podría mejorarse.

Amazing ryokan, so beautiful and traditional and the multiple private onsen feel like a dream. The room was so beautiful and had amazing mommiji river views.

Some parts of the dinner were a bit "weird" for people who are not used to it, were good quality but we would have prefered a bit more meat/fish instead of so many vegetables. Breakfast was better though.
