Cabana Farmec Ciubăr - Dézsabáj Kulcsosház

I liked the fact the place is very rustic and quiet, which brings back childhood memories growing up in the countryside, it is very nice and cozy and has an atmosphere that brings people together more.

If you are a big fan of spending time near the city or you are used to renting hotel rooms for you vacations, you will find it tough staying here, but I don't say you shouldn't give it a chance, because it may exced your expectations. :]

From the beginning, you need to know that this is not an experience for everybody. If you're looking for a nice, picturesque, and very cozy location to escape the city's crowds, then this is the place for you. The hosts are polite and friendly and are willing to help with tips and tricks on what you can visit during your stay (our recommendation is to ask them as many questions as you have because they don't want to disturb you at all). To arrive at the location, you can count on Waze (Google Maps will direct you in another direction). It's better to call the owners before you arrive if you are uncertain about the location, but all the directions we received from them were accurate. Once we arrived, we were also greeted by their dog (who is a sweetheart and friendly) and by the uniqueness of the whole place. We had a lovely experience in the tub (ciubar). We were lucky enough to have this experience on a rainy day. The water was excellent (at 40 degrees) and salty. Here are a couple of things that are worth to be mentioned to take advantage of during the stay: - if you have a specific diet and you need food prepared in an oven, be sure that you bring an air fryer or something similar because there is no oven. - be aware that the WC from the bathroom is placed close to the wall on the right, and if you are a plus-size person, this might be a challenge. - if you haven't tried the tub (ciubar), it's worth discussing with the owners and paying the extra fee for it. It's a unique experience, and it's cozy. For this, you need to bring your bathing suit together with some flip-flops for when you want to enter the tub and some flip-flops to go to the tub from the house. We enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely come back to it and also recommend it further.
