"Superb"

Good location for visiting Durham and Sunderland, daily easy access from Middlesbrough area and very good from A1 via A690. Quiet setting in side road. Our room,3, was spacious and comfortable, with 2 armchairs, the only negative was shower access; the shower has a sliding door so only half the width opens for access. We managed but people of "ample proportions" might struggle a bit. Breakfast was a good standard English with the usual ingredients, and this is another source of excellent poached eggs - my marker for a good breakfast cook. We would certainly be more than happy to stay here again. For anyone not wanting to drive into Durham the Belmont park and ride is only a few minutes away on the A690.Ideal base for Durham and surrounding area.
