This was by far the best accommodation we stayed whilst travelling around Crete. The house is spacious, very well furnished with lots of lovely details and decorations. A must for everyone who loves and appreciates historic buildings. On arrival we met Maria and her husband Ioannis showing us the house and lovely garden. They told us about the history of the house and Maria prepared a lovely Cretan meal for us, thank you so much. The small village of Voroi is perfectly located close to several places of interest (Phaistos, Gortyn, Matala, Kommos beach, Agia Galini etc). There is a very good tavern and kafenion, a bakery and small supermarket. The Museum of Cretan Ethnology in the village is worth a visit too. We would love to come again.
