The place is under renovation so it should be better with time. It very close to the start point for Batur

It's pretty wild. The person on the site doesn't know English. No internet

Great location and quiet. We enjoyed staying in nature, the staff made our group a campfire and were very helpful and friendly. They served a decent breakfast in the morning. 1 tip - Make sure to stock up on snacks before you get to the accommodation for your trek! Short distance to the starting point of Mt Batur hike. Perfect to rest before and after the hike!

The neighbours were singing karaoke every day in the afternoon and evening (they stopped at 10 but if you have to wake up early for the hike it's annoying to wait for them to stop). The workers really tried there best to help but it's pretty difficult when they can't speak a word of English. The facilities were nog great. The water most of the time didn't work, you have to wait for a couple minutes. They didn't give a sheet for around the blanket. The hut has big holes where 3 frogs at some point came through to say hello. The workers immediately tried to help us though! Overall I would say it's not worth the money unfortunately

A quiet and clean accom situated right in the hiking path. So it’s easy to start the hike just from outside your door.

More disturbing noises of cars and scooters than expected when you book Bamboo hut in the woods. Most people start the climb between 2 and 4 AM so they are transported by jeeps and scooters.
