Mercedes is the most amazing host we have ever had. She opens her heart and welcomes you into her house to share life together. If your looking for a true home stay style experience you will not be let down. House is cute and in a safe area, walking distance to centro and Pueblo Boyacense. Room is quaint and bathroom is clean with hot water for shower.

"it’s good for the money you pay , don’t expect a super comfy bed"

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Familiar, the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Every day Mrs Mercedes prepared a delicious Colombian breakfast. It really felt like home. Hot shower was definitely a plus! The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and there is a shopping centre within walking distance (a 5-minute walk). If I come again to Duitama, I will stay there again. Highly recommend!
